"The stories of Maria Yotova": How to save an abandoned school

In May, the team from the segment "The Stories of Maria Yotova" and the show "In Focus with Lora Krumova" visited the village of Golyama Zhelyazna. We met in front of the future International School of Gastronomy, where renovation activities were in full swing behind its fence.

We shared our first memory of the day we got lost in Golyama Zhelyazna and accidentally stumbled upon the school, as well as the initial ideas that inspired us.

We showcased the future spaces that will be transformed into kitchens, classrooms, a restaurant, and a café. We talked about our motivation, development plans, the team behind the project, and what we dream of leaving behind. When asked, "How do you save an abandoned school?" we answered, "With people."
